Really lovely product. Fresh and clean. The best sage tea I have ever purchased. Thanks Planet Organic

I have to say that not much touches off nostalgia in me as much as the smell of sage. It reminds me of walking in high sage deserts in Idaho as a kid. The scent of the dry leaves and the steeped liquor had a sense of this the aroma was dulled compared to the taste. The tea bursts with sage flavor and a subtly sweet taste coming through as the sage fades. But the sage taste doesn't disappear, it lingers in an interesting after taste for some time.I've been trying to learn to love teas this year and I have been trying to experience as many teas as possible, so I'm glad I got to try this tea out, but it isn't one of my favorites, but a good experience. Definitely a solid 4 stars. The one thing that I can say I don't like about it is that it comes in a thin plastic bag which is not a good long term storage option. I ended up clipping mine as well as I could, but wish I had an extra tea tin to keep it in. Be aware, this is not a self sealing container and will probably need to be transferred once opened.A little like drinking liquid stuffing on Thanksgiving.

I use a tea strainer so the loose leaf is good for me. I don't mind storing it in plastic bag since the bag is not resealable. My only issue is that I like it stronger but if I steep it long enough for a good flavor the tea gets cold. I reheated it in the microwave and enjoyed the tea.

I haven’t tried using this in tea yet I did try adding some to a few dishes and it is very much like any other sage out there. I do think this was specifically made for tea because of the large size leaves so it’s easier to steep. Flavor is what I expect it to be good strong I’ll have to try it as tea soon. I store mine in an airtight jar in the pantry.

Amazingly fresh scent and light flavor. Well packaged but needs to be transferred to an air right container after opening to preserve freshness as it comes in a plastic bag and cardboard box. A decent amount for the price and I would certainly purchase again in the future!

Not a whole lot to say on this one. This is a bag of loose leaf Sage. You can brew it as tea or you can use it as a spice in cooking. Smells and tastes as it should. You will need to store this in a container other than the plastic bag inside the box.

OK, I don't like the packaging, which other reviewers have already mentioned. You get a little box, with a plastic bag inside the box, which you must cut to get the tea out. And, the bag doesn't reseal. You will have to either use the tea up within a couple weeks, or repackage it for storage. Planet Organic really needs to rethink it's packaging, as I've sampled another of their teas in exactly the same packaging. A ziploc baggie would fix this problem! The tea is quite coarsely cut. Seriously, one bud had to be pushed down into my tea infuser. Most teas are pretty uniformly cut, in my experience. You don't generally find a single huge tea leaf in your tea.The scent is great. It smells like home cooking! It puts you in the holiday spirit, if nothing else. The flavor? Well, I guess it's just not my cup of tea. It tastes like sage, no doubt about it, but somehow, it just doesn't appeal to me. I suppose that if I were taking the tea for medical reasons, I would quickly learn to like it.I plan on using the remainder of this tea blended with some nice black tea, to make a couple gallons of sun tea. I'm sure that it will add a little something to plain old black pekoe tea!About halfway through my first cup of tea, I decided to sweeten it a little. Instead of sugar, I reached for some clover honey. Uhh - wow? The sage and honey somehow enhance each other. That is, the sage flavor got considerably stronger after adding the honey. Still not my cup of tea, but, yeah, it's nice. I still plan on making sun tea with the remainder.

This makes a nice cup of Sage tea. I followed the instructions and it came out perfect. It has great flavor.

This is great organic loose leaf sage tea. It tastes and smells fresh and makes a nice cup of warm tea. I especially love it with lemon juice added to it. I also add a bit of honey or monk fruit when I want it sweetened. And I am extra happy that it is organic.

Upon opening the exterior packaging I could already smell the scent of sage so it was very fresh despite being dried. I don't like sage tea so I did not brew it as intended but I used it in several culinary dishes and found it to have an excellent flavor profile without any bitterness that sage can sometimes have. There is quite a lot of sage so I will have enough to last a while. I transferred it to a glass jar to keep it fresh but otherwise it was perfect.

I always prefer organic products over non-organic and would agree it's always better for you and the environment. That said, I followed the instructions by using a teaspoon of the loose leaves and placed in my usual tea pot with a removable filter and filled with a cup of boiling water. I really enjoy the aroma of sage but did find the actual taste to be a bit mild for my liking. I decided to use (2) teaspoons instead moving forward and can say it's tastes so much better but obviously this is personal preference.I am somewhat disappointed though being that these are loose leaves and not individual packaged per serving that a resealable bag was not used. Not a big issue for me since I have airtight jars which I have since used to store the remaining. Alternatively, placing the bag inside a zip loc back also works to help keep the freshness as well as the aromas of the tea leaves.

This is a loose-leaf sage tea that comes in a sealed plastic bag for freshness but doesn’t reseal so you’ll have to store it in a ziplock bag or some other airtight container. The tea tastes just like sage to me but you’ll have to make it stronger than they say in the directions and it has a nice sage scent as well. I enjoyed the tea and am happy it’s certified organic.

We always have a sage bush outside to use to add flavor to meals so the idea of making tea with sage is a hit around our house. The wonderful scent permeates the house while it is brewing and the smell from the cup while drinking gives the full experience of sage to our senses.A wonderful product at a great price that we love and recommend to everyone.

Following the instructions, I made it in a French Press. I thought the tea flavor was a little light. It has a good Sage smell. On the Amazon product page, it says:Flavor Mint, LemonUnit Count 25.00 CountI don't get any hints of mint or lemon. The packaging doesn't mention it either. It's just the fragrance and taste of Sage. As to the 25.00 Count, I'm guessing that's how many servings it has if you were to divide the 50 grams of loose leaf tea. It's not individually wrapped.I think this is a great value at $9.95 (on 2023/04/08). Similar items on Amazon are a lot more expensive.

This is a great package of organic sage. The herb smells very fresh and fragrant and makes a great enjoyable tea. Looking at the leaves, I didn't see any stems, fillers or other substance other than dried sage leaves. Very pure and high quality. As a bonus, you can use the loose leaves for cooking as well when the recipe calls for dried sage.Great product and highly recommended.

Sage relief
This product is great . It has really helped with my hot flushes .

This seems like a good brand of loose tea. It tastes like freshly dried sage. It has a good scent and taste, and it does not take a lot to give a good cup of tea. The box did get a little beat up in shipping on me, but it had gotten placed with other heavier items in a larger box, and there was no damage to the plastic inside. Just be aware if ordering other items with it. I would probably get it again.

Pretty balanced tasting tea with a nice fresh scent to go with it - if you're a fan of sage, you'll probably enjoy this. The leaves are loose so you'll want some way to separate them out, either with an infuser or a lot of patience.

Sage is one of my favorite herbs, especially for cooking. I've had sage tea in the past which can be slightly bitter and this one was pleasant and a bit minty, though I still add a touch of honey to it when I drink it. The scent is appealing and relaxing, with the flavor being what I expected. Recommended!

First time Sage Tea drinker, and admittedly my taste receptors are not quite there. Planet Organic Sage Loose Leaf Herbal Tea is the REAL deal, it is loose leaf tea cuttings waiting in a bag to be seeped. To make Sage tea takes a little time as the tea is slow to brew up even in very hot water. The tea is ready when the water color change is noticeable and distinguishable. It is even possible to brew to be quite strong in taste. In my experience some of the finer cut tea made it past the filter and into the cup. The tea was seeped with a common ordinary stain steel diffuser ball with only so much filtering capability.Sage Tea is strong in earthly presence and yields a very green flavor. The green flavor hides a natural nettle type taste that is also present to me in the cup. Overall it has an odd but acquirable taste. This was sampled with no added sugars or substitutes, only 100% Planet Organic Sage Loose Leaf Herbal Tea.

This tea arrives fresh in typical retail packaging that is easy to open and start enjoying right away. It is bulk loose tea in one plastic bag and is fresh. It smells and tastes great. There weren't any limbs or any other debris in it.

Now THIS is what I expected tea leaves to be like when I got into this hobby! They smell STRONG, they're definitely fully dried, they come in a bag INSIDE their box for extra containment. It is lovely to even just have the box open nearby for the aromatherapy benefits! Now all I have to do is make them into tea with a solid strainer and I'll be a happy camper!

I always loved sage essential oil. The tea is also amazing! It doesn’t have a strong smell, but when tasting it, at first it is a little bitter, and then the wonderful, aromatic scent fill out your tastebuds. Wonderful tea. Brightens my day.

This tea is certified organic dried sage leaves. This is pure sage and has no caffeine. Sage has health benefits which you can look up online.Upon opening the package there is a fresh light herbal scent.I mostly followed the package instructions, however, my mug is 14 oz so I used more than a tsp of tea. I let it steep about 7 minutes.I added a little honey and tasted. It's very good but next time I'll use a little less herb and steep for a shorter time as this was a little too strong and had a slight bitter note.I consume loose herbal teas nearly daily. I like strong flavors and usually experiment initially to find the strength I prefer for that particular tea. When using loose teas one generally uses special mugs or teapots with a fitted strainer such as you see in my photos but if you don't have that you can just place the herb in a mug, add the hot water, let it steep and strain using any kitchen strainer; you can also make a tea bag using cheesecloth. This tea comes in a thin plastic bag inside of the box. But the bag isn't resealable. I have containers for loose tea but alternatively you could transfer the tea to a Ziploc bag or any tightly sealing container or jar. This is a really good quality herbal tea. This is enough to last for quite a while making the price perfectly reasonable.

This sage tea is very smooth and has a distinct but inoffensive taste. It's hard to describe, a bit greenery tasting. It's a pretty relaxing tea to drink. Seems to settle my stomach as well. I can see this replacing chamomile as my night time cup of tea. The taste does linger a bit more than chamomile, which could be a good or bad thing depending. I would really like to try this mixed with some other flavors. Maybe something citrusy, like lemon or blood orange.

When I open this bag of the tea, it has a very strong herbal smell. But the tea itself is very light, not much taste. I don’t know how to store them when I open the bag, because the whole bag is loose leaves. I just tie the bag using rubber band. I think I am better go with individual teabags.

Its great that this product is certified organic. It's a natural product and offers a lot in the form of vitamins and natural immunity, but comes with a tough taste. You might need to add some honey to take the bite out of the taste.TIP: You can boil and strain, or use a loose tea holder (which I prefer since you can then let it steep shorter or longer, depending on how strong you like your tea)
