Aids Anxiety & Insomnia: Valerian may improve sleep quality and reduce time taken to fall asleep. May ease menstrual discomfort and reduce hot flushes during menopause. Helpful in reducing blood sugar levels. Beneficial for exam stress.
DIRECTIONS
Use 1 teaspoon to 1 cup of boiled water
Steep for 10 minutes and strain.
Ginger and honey will improve flavour. For insomnia, use 30-60 minutes before bed continuously for several days, up to 6 weeks may be needed before an effect is noted. Maximum 3 cups daily. May reduce restlessness, disrupted sleep in children under 12. Half dose for children.

Digestive Stimulant: Fenugreek may stimulate the appetite and relieve dyspepsia or gastritis. A mild laxative. May relieve excess mucus of upper respiratory passages. May assist with reduction of high cholesterol.
DIRECTIONS
Use 1 teaspoon per cup of water.
Steep in almost boiling water for up to 3 hours.
Strain and drink. Add more water to pot, do not add more seed, reheat for another cup or two. 2 or 3 cups maximum daily. Not recommended for children under 14.
