Organic Ingredients

Morning Wellness Tea - 100% Certified Organic: Ginger, Peppermint, Lemon Balm.

Nursing Tea- 100% Certified Organic: Raspberry Leaf, Blessed Thistle, Fennel Seed, Fenugreek, Rooibos, Ginger.

Gripe Tea - 100% Certified Organic: Chamomile, Lemon Verbena, Nettle, Aniseed, Fennel Seed, Dandelion Leaf, Caraway Seed.

Directions

• Boil the kettle and prepare your cup or teapot.

• Use 1 tea bag per 250ml of hot water. If you prefer iced tea, use 2 tea bags per 250ml.

• Pour freshly boiled water over the tea bag and brew for 4-5 minutes. If you prefer a stronger brew, try adding an extra tea bag instead of brewing for longer.

• Remove the tea bag and enjoy!

For in stock items we aim to have all Australian Orders shipped the same day if placed before 10am (AEST) Monday to Friday. Orders placed outside of our business hours will be processed on the next business day.

We will ship using a standard Australia Post service or a courier service whereby you can track your order easily.

Shipping notifications will be sent when the parcel has been dispatched. Once a delivery has been picked up by the courier, it is no longer our responsibility. It is the customers responsibility to inform us if an order has not arrived in a timely manner. We will then contact the courier to investigate further.

Please ensure your delivery details are correct as we are unable to re-direct packages once your order has been dispatched.

Any delivery date or times specified by us is a best estimate and based on information from Australia Post. Planet Organic will not be liable for any reasonable and unavoidable delays in delivery.

Pre-ordered products will only be shipped when they are available.

Returns & Exchanges

In the event the product you receive is incorrect or defective please contact us within 30 days of receiving the product so we can rectify the issue. To be eligible for a return on an incorrect product the product must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

Please email hello@planetorganic.com.au with your order number, contact details and a brief description of the problem. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. We’ll either provide a replacement or a refund for the product. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds will be processed promptly via your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Kindly note that return costs for returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases are the responsibility of the customer.

FAQ's

What does "Certified Organic" mean?

Organically grown products should be certified by an organic certification association – an independent, recognised association administering a clearly defined set of organic standards.

All Planet Organic products are certified by the Australian Certified Organic Standards, who conduct regular inspections at all levels of production, to ensure our high standards are maintained. These inspections involve product testing and audit trails, authenticating the certified supply chain back to the source.

Are any of your ingredients fumigated, irradiated or genetically modified?

No, irradiation and fumigation are prohibited treatments for Certified Organic produce. If required, heat treatment or freezing are alternative acceptable methods.

Genetically modified ingredients are not permitted under the National Organic Standard Edition 3.5.

What is your teabag paper made from, and is it bleached?

Our teabag paper is made from a mix of wood pulp, abaca fibre ( manilla hemp ) and plant based sealing fibres. No plastics! We do not string, tag or envelope our bags to avoid waste, and our teabags are compostable.

Our teabag paper is oxygen bleached and is whitened with Hydrogen Peroxide which breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen and dissipates with no residuals.

What materials are used in your packaging?

Our tea bags are sealed in a cellulose freshness barrier. The material is wholly derived from biomass, which is usually corn, sugar cane or cellulose. No petroleum based plastics are used. The wrap is compostable in home composting conditions.

The materials used for our tea boxes are responsibly sourced with a programme protecting forest sustainability. The box is printed using vegetable based inks from renewal raw materials, and is recyclable.

What is the shelf life of your products?

We have a high turn over of stock and are packing products every single day! Which means that sometimes you may receive products that are freshly packed only several days before we send them to you.

All of our Tea Bags and Spices have a best before date of 3 years from manufacture (excluding Earl Grey at 15 months).

Whereas our Loose Leaf Teas and Herbs best before dates are 1.5-2 years.
