Perhaps best known for its naturally occurring silica, Horsetail has traditionally been used to help strengthen connective tissue and support healthy bones. It has also been enjoyed to support hair, skin and nail health, particularly for splitting or brittle nails and lifeless hair. Traditionally, Horsetail has also been used for skin concerns including acne and eczema, and to support cellular regeneration, collagen and elastin.

Horsetail also has a long history of use for kidney, bladder and urinary wellbeing. Traditionally valued for its natural diuretic properties, it may assist with fluid retention and has historically been used for concerns including kidney or bladder stones, urinary tract infections and incontinence.

With naturally occurring antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, Horsetail has also traditionally been enjoyed to help soothe rheumatic discomfort and support general joint, tissue and whole-body wellbeing.

Despite having quite the résumé for one little herb, Horsetail Tea itself is surprisingly easy-going. It has a mild, earthy and gently herbal flavour and is naturally caffeine-free, making it an easy addition to your everyday herbal tea routine.

• Boil the kettle and prepare your infuser or teapot.

• Use 1-2 teaspoons of Horsetail Loose Leaf Tea per 250ml of hot water.

• Pour freshly boiled water over the tea and brew for 5-8 minutes. If you prefer a strong brew, try adding an extra teaspoon of tea.

• Remove the infuser or pour from your teapot and enjoy!

For in stock items we aim to have all Australian Orders shipped the same day if placed before 10am (AEST) Monday to Friday.  Orders placed outside of our business hours will be processed on the next business day. Fulfilment times may vary during sale periods depending on demand. 

We will ship using a standard Australia Post service or a courier service whereby you can track your order easily.

Shipping notifications will be sent when the parcel has been dispatched.  Once a delivery has been picked up by the courier, it is no longer our responsibility.  It is the customers responsibility to inform us if an order has not arrived in a timely manner.  We will then contact the courier to investigate further.

Please ensure your delivery details are correct as we are unable to re-direct packages once your order has been dispatched.

Any delivery date or times specified by us is a best estimate and based on information from Australia Post.  Planet Organic will not be liable for any reasonable and unavoidable delays in delivery.

Pre-ordered products will only be shipped when they are available.

In the event the product you receive is incorrect or defective please contact us within 30 days of receiving the product so we can rectify the issue. To be eligible for a return on an incorrect product the product must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

Please email hello@planetorganic.com.au with your order number, contact details and a brief description of the problem.  If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.  We’ll either provide a replacement or a refund for the product. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds will be processed promptly via your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.   

Kindly note that return costs for returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases are the responsibility of the customer. 

If your loose leaf teas arrive with less than 9 months shelf life, we’ll replace them with fresher stock—free of charge.
