Marshmallow tea is soothing to heal the gut. Flavour has a mild neutral woody taste that leaves a clean taste. It’s a must to keep our gut lining in optimal health.

I love the flavor of this tea. I add it to the Nettle tea and get a healthy brew that soothes the body and the soul.
A favorite!

I find the taste quite pleasant though I am going to experiment with strength of brew and possibly a sweetener such as molasses, Packa, ging is great and I am very happy that this is organic

This is a nice, light tea. It’s a bit of an earthy flavor. I got it to help with some digestive issues and after using it for a few weeks I have noticed some improvement. I’m happy with it and the shelf life was good. Plenty of time to use it up before expiration.

Has a nice earthy mellow flavor to it. I put about 2 tsp to a cup of boiling hot water. Steep it for the recommended 10 minutes then I like adding a little honey to the tea. Perfect to drink before bed. Another thing I like to do is mix the marshmallow root tea with a couple of other herbs to make a soothing tea for whenever I have a sore or dry throat.

This is great quality loose leaf organic marshmallow root for making tea. The flavor from this tea is very mild, so I like to mix it up with other herbs to get a little more flavor while still getting the benefits of the marshmallow root. It is best to drink it on an empty stomach if you are using it for health benefits.

The instructions for this tea says to steep it in boiled water for 10 minutes. However, according to what I have read, boiling water actually destroys the beneficial compounds, and it should actually be steeped in room temperature water for about 6 hours. I did it both ways and I actually preferred it hot. Which is funny actually because I prefer my tea to be iced almost all of the time. It didn't even take nearly that long to steep in room temperature water surprisingly and they both turned out about the same strength, but it was just more pleasant to drink warm. This is not like any other herbal tea I have tried. It has a very mild, earthy flavor. There was nothing disagreeable about its flavor. It is just very subtle. What is unique and different about this compared to any other tea I've had is that it... gels. You can feel it in the leaves after they've steeped, and see it when the water strains out. It is just slightly thicker than water. This can be very beneficial if you have a sore throat or cough because it will coat your mucous membranes.Overall, this would not be my top choice as an everyday tea, but it definitely has its place and purpose.

This arrives in a really too thin outer box because it can get crushed in from other items in your shipment. The box had clearly printed on the bottom an expiration date (Feb 2026) which should give most folks more than enough time to use this up before it turns “old”.The outer box is not sealed, which I prefer for any product that I’m going to drink, and the inside bag is closed but not tamper sealed, a bit of a disappointment. The tea is loose leaf & the claim is it weights 75g. I got the inside weight of 76.74 grams.I brewed a cup & let it sit while going outside to walk the dog.Back, probably 10-15 minutes later, to me it isn’t unpleasant because in has a recognizable mint taste & I love mint. Nothing else really needed to add, it’s a fine sipping tea.I realize it’s got medicinal claims, but rarely would I drink a tea I don’t think tastes good. This also did not seem to have any ill effects, for me.PS — Maybe not right before bed — the claim of diuretic is very accurate.

If you like Marshmallow root this may be for you it tastes good is good for you and won't cost you a fortune reusable tea bags that you will need to purchase for this loose-leaf tea is great because you can use them as much or little of this tea as you like and it is better for the environment.

I ordered this because I have read this is one of those that can help with IC symptoms. This is loose tea in a plastic bag in a small box, so you will need something since they are not individual tea bags. I have a glass container set up specifically for loose tea that I use in my one cup coffee maker with a top so I can steep., There isn't too much flavor to it. I developed an intense cold the week I got it, so I have been mixing it with eucalyptus and mugwort and all of these have been helping me with my cold. I also have noticed my bladder feeling soothed. No complaints.

I've been enjoying Planet Organic Marshmallow Root Loose Herbal Tea for a while now and I have to say, I'm impressed! The tea is made with pure, organic Marshmallow roots and is free from any synthetic chemicals or additives. It's rich in vitamins and minerals like magnesium, potassium, and calcium which are beneficial for respiratory, digestive, cough, cold, and skin support. The tea has a neutral, slightly woody taste, and I love that the packaging is sustainable and compostable. Overall, a nourishing tea that I highly recommend for anyone looking to support their respiratory and digestive health.

VERY bad taste.

I thought the tea was going to be sweet like Marshmallow. Instead it had a mild woody taste. This is the first time I heard of this type of tea and I was surprised that has antioxidants, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, magnesium, potassium, and calcium. I will definitely be adding this tea to rotation especially during the colder months.

Several years ago, I had chemo and as a result, for years afterwards, I had mouth and throat issues - dryness, cough, irritation, etc. I read something about Marshmallow Root being helpful, so I thought I'd try it. And guess what, it improved my issues. I was amazed and impressed by these Marshmallow Root capsules. When I saw that it was also in a tea format, I ordered it. I will say, the flavor is ok - kind of woodsy or earthy. I put a little lemon juice in it, and it helped greatly. If you do a search on Marshmallow Root, you will see that it has many health benefits - which far outweigh the woodsy flavor. I was impressed with how it helped me be before and that I can get it in a tea. I will continue to purchase this product.

So this tea might improve some stomach and urinary tract affections according to the manufacturer.I have a very sensitive stomach and it didnt upset my stomach or anything. The flavor I would describe it as earthly, not fruity, not citrus, not leafy, not like flowers or anything Ive tried before, it's very unique. I didnt love it but that's a personal preference and it might be different for you.For now I'll drink it when I have upset stomach, more like a medicine rather than for enjoyment.
Cindy
Very interesting consistency of the root. It kind of looks like shredded dried mushrooms and is very light and airy. The taste and smell remind me a lot of Chamomile tea. It's a very light woodsy taste. The tea is from a New Zealand distributor and is packed in Australia, according to the package.

It was hard for me to make a strong enough tea to give a good flavor. Depending on your preference you can either use more tea and or longer brew times than recommended or grind it up more finely in a spice grinder. It is whole root however so this perhaps shouldn't be a surprise but it is a problem. It is a nice organic product from what seems to be a good brand. As always be careful if you intend to treat yourself with this as an unproven natural medicine.

I've never heard of marshmallow root. I'm always looking for new caffeine free tea. This one is interesting. It's a light herbal flavor. It recommends to steep for up to 10min, which I did. Very light in color. It's a good tea if you like those qualities. If you prefer a strong flavor then this isn't for you.

Great organic! Perfect for tea!

I made some of this tea last night for the first time and although I do like its flavor a little by itself, I prefer it's sweeter and used vanilla creamer which made it taste delightful. Marshmallow root has a lot of health benefits, but I'm just starting to try it out to see if it helps with coating my esophagus & helping with my esophageal issues. Everything, even drinking just plain old water, gives me horrible heartburn! Even after drinking this tea, I did have some heartburn, however, I didn't notice it being as bad throughout the night when I tried to sleep which is unusual for me. It is recommended not to take marshmallow root within a couple of hours of any other medications or herbs because of the fact that it coats the stomach which would possibly make the other things less effective so I will have to monitor when I drink this. It's also rumored to help with inflammation and other things which will be a better addition to my herbal medicinal pantry. I'm not sure about the price, seems kind of steep, (no pun intended, lol), but it might be worth having on hand at all times if it does help me with other issues.

A great tea. I sweeten it with honey and it tastes great. Also great for coughs.

This is my first time trying marshmallow root tea. It’s delightful. The flavor is soft and rich. It produced a light colored tea, similar to a white tea. The instructions say to steep for ten minutes which I did after heating water to 212°. The tea is herbal and soothes the throat. Overall I would recommend this tea!

This was recommended by my doctor for acid reflux and laryngitis. It has a very clean and smooth taste. Almost reminded me of “sleigh ride” tea.

Awesome to have an organic tea that is natural and packed with healthy nutrients, which can help with an array of conditions. I found this to have an interesting outdoorsy taste, but you can add honey or something else to sweeten to your taste as needed.TIP: Steep tea shorter or longer depending on how strong you like it
