We don't waste anything around here, even the apple skins and cores don’t need to be discarded — they can be composted at home, returning nutrients back to the soil. The same goes for your daily Planet Organic tea, with plant-based & compostable tea bags and loose leaves easily added to your compost system.
Many common cinnamon varieties can contain higher levels of coumarin, which isn’t ideal for frequent use. That’s why we always reach for Ceylon cinnamon — often called “true cinnamon.” It has a naturally lighter, more delicate flavour. Planet Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is carefully sourced and tested for heavy metals like lead, offering a more considered choice for your everyday pantry.
With a generous amount of cinnamon layered through both the apples and the crumble, this recipe brings warmth, depth, and balance — perfect for slow baking and sharing.
