The Best Granola Recipe - Golden and Crispy
Here's the recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups puffed quinoa
1/2 cup chopped mixed nuts (we used walnuts, pepitas and almonds)
Handful chopped dates
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/3 cup Planet Organic maple syrup
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp each Planet Organic Cinnamon and Nutmeg (add or try other spices if you wish!)
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until evenly coated (adjust quantities of nuts and other add ins if needed).
- Spread an even layer over the lined baking tray.
- Toast in pre-heated oven, stirring every 5 minutes or so until the oats crisp into a beautiful golden colour.
Enjoy with your favourite fruit, yoghurt or milk, or even as a snack on its own.
